Which Trip is Right for You?
We offer a variety of trip types to satisfy most adventure types and are for people of any race, gender identity, religion, country of origin, sexual orientation, or ethnicity who values wilderness and is curious to learn more about the natural world in the Tongass.
Boat Excursions on the Tongass Jem
For guests with limited mobility or who want to get out on the water and cover some distance without the added challenge of sea-kayaking, we suggest one of our boat excursions on the Tongass Jem. The two standard trips are the Frederick Sound Whales and Wildlife Tour and the LeConte Glacier Boat Tour. All of our tours are limited to 6 people, providing an opportunity for even our standard trips to be customized to the guests wishes. Sea Kayak Excursions
Guests looking for a little more adventure have a few trips to choose from. Sea kayaks are not one size fits all, however, and some folks may have to opt out. We have a variety of boat sizes and will do our best to accommodate all sizes, but will have to ask your height and weight to determine if we have a boat that will be safe for you. We also love to see little ones getting out on the water with their parents, but restrict our tours to kiddos who are able to hold a paddle and contribute to the effort.
